Creature design

Process of a creature design made with Krita and a Wacom Intuos, I wanted this character to have a humanoid shape but at the same time I wanted it to look as if it came from another dimension; During the process I used references from the H.P Lovecraft's universe because it's full of monsters with strange shapes but at the same time there are some human characters with a dark side that makes us wonder if they are really human or not.

Once the design was done I started adding some textures with different pencils to appreciate more the materials on the cloth and the skin, then for the final process I made some post-production with layers to add more tone to the colors and the drkness.
